Their mission? To benchmark and understand how Murang’a is transforming healthcare through innovation and digitisation.

The county’s bold investment in digital health systems, including smart records and improved service delivery, has drawn attention beyond Kenya’s borders. This visit is a clear sign that African nations are increasingly looking inward, sharing solutions, and building each other up.

Led by Governor Irungu Kang’ata, Murang’a has become a model of what’s possible when leadership meets innovation. From telemedicine to efficient patient management systems, the county is redefining how accessible and effective healthcare can be.
